Leadership & Staff: From the Artistic Director
Synchronicity Producing Artistic Director Rachel May
Well here we go, another season, more of the same old, same old….
Wait a minute!
We just couldn’t bear to follow the same old structure that we’ve done in the past.
So this year, we’re serving up a tapas of offerings, with delights for every theatre ‘palate.’
I’m really excited about bringing in actor/playwright Megan Gogerty, and bringing back Women + War.
And Sarah Ruhl well, rules my world. Truly, this is a wonderful play by an incredibly accomplished playwright.
Our Family Series brings back 2 ‘old friends’ – Bunnicula and
Free to Be, You and Me – the treasure that started the whole Family Series!
Come on, admit it, you can sing every word along with me!
And in the spring, we’re introducing the Atlanta community to the adaptation of Katie Couric’s play,
The Brand New Kid.
Melanie Marnich, a playwright I adore, wrote the book, and so the production promises to be spectacular.
Top this all off with some wonderful tidbits – our Naughty & Nice cabaret in December and our
Playmaking for Girls public performance in June, and I think you’ll be fully satisfied.
Can’t wait to see you at the theatre.
Best,
Rachel
