About New Play Commissions

Through the commissioning of new plays, Synchronicity supports both emerging and established playwrights. It is our hope that all plays commissioned will be programmed into future seasons, and we are eager to share scripts commissioned by Synchronicity with other producing companies.

Past commissions include Through the WonderGlass – an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, by Margaret Baldwin.

Currently, Atlanta playwright Lauren Gunderson is working on a new adaptation of The Van Gogh Café, for our Family Series.
