Special Events: Women in the Arts Luncheon

Women in the Arts Luncheon

Thursday, March 18, 2010
11:30 am - 1:30 pm (networking from 11:30 am - 12:00 pm)
103 West (103 West Paces Ferry, Buckhead)

An informative and lively panel discussion with some of Atlanta's most prominent women artists, funders and administrators. A great opportunity for networking and a gourmet lunch. All proceeds benefit Synchronicity Performance Group's 2009/2010 season.

The theme for the 2010 luncheon is "The Arts Make Good Cents" and is focused on answering key questions: How can the arts and business better partner to build a stronger Atlanta? Why should advocating for the arts be a vital part of city planning? What can we all do to preserve and build accessibility to the arts in our community?

Panelists

The panel will be moderated by Rachel May, Synchronicity’s Producing Artistic Director. Our distinguished panelists are:

  • Jasmine Guy, film, tv and stage actor and director
  • Mary Pat Matheson, Executive Director of Atlanta Botanical Garden
  • Sandy Hofmann, CIO of the Advanced Technology Development Center
  • Jan Selman, former Executive Director of Arts Leadership League of GA
  • Virginia Hepner, business woman, arts advocate and recent interim Executive Director, Atlanta Ballet
